Causelink Version 1.1.335 was released on March 16, 2012.  

IMPROVEMENTS SINCE LAST RELEASE

BUG FIXES SINCE LAST RELEASE

The following issues have been resolved since the December  22nd, 2011 release of Causelink.

  •  Keyboard - can't enter @ on swedish keyboard
  • Chart Sidebar: New Items can't be added in the Sidebar text fields until tab clicked on chart.
  • Report - Shift + tab not working
  • Chart: Cause box alerts should match cause box actions.
  • Chart: Scroll-bar in Sidebar is cut off on the right side.
  • Report: Enter button not functioning in "Report Summary" and "Cause and Effect Summary".
  • Chart: dragging cause-box past a border makes chart move in the opposite direction.
  • Sidebar and Chart: Cancel button does not remove evidence or solutions.
  • Sidebar - Report: Evidence Action Item count does not immediately decrement in Chart Quality.
  • Report: Cause and Effect Summary text not being saved.
  • Sidebar: Old data still in Chart Quality Report Summaries.
  • License & Register: Getting "Could not add the registration" message.
  • Chart Print Preview: Clicking Report before Cancel displays Report under Print Preview.
  • Report: "Implement" count and cost not adjusting immediately in Sidebar after deselecting checkbox.

KNOWN ISSUES

The following are known issues with the Version 1.1.335 Beta release of Causelink.

  • Vertical lines sometimes appear in cause boxes. These disappear when you edit the text or zoom in or out.
  • In the sidebar, Chart Quality sometimes shows "Blank Cause" for renamed cause boxes.
  • If you permanently delete an RCA, the report summaries from that file will appear in the sidebar of the new RCA.  This goes away when you enter text into these report fields.
  • Dragging a cause box past the sidebar results in movement of the sidebar.
  • When you drag and drop a cause, sometimes the chart will shift position.
  • If you type enough text without a space into a cause box it will overflow the cause box boundaries.
  • Performance can become an issue when working with large RCAs.
  • Edit > Undo from the menu doesn't work if you have not changed the focus of your cursor before clicking the menu
  • Report: tabbing after a date is selected with the mouse puts the cursor back to the top.
  • Re-sizing the software window before Causelink is fully loaded may cause a crash
  • Clicking undo on the chart after deleting a cause does not reset the cause count in the sidebar
  • XP users with DPI settings at 120 see the right and lower portion of the application cut off
  • Users with locale settings that aren't defined in the application see their calendar default to Spanish
