MIDLAND, Michigan, USA – Sologic has released a prototype module to its root cause analysis software, Causelink Enterprise, which integrates with IBM’s Watson cognitive computing system. The new module leverages voice to text technology, allowing end users to describe a problem and automatically create succinct causes from the narrative. These causes can then be organized for further causal analysis. The system also provides data visualization tools to evaluate potential solutions to a problem based upon user-identified variables. Watson-generated reports have been added, which help identify related problems and pinpoint trends in a data set.
Focus groups for the Watson module will be held at the end of May and Beta testing will begin in the summer of 2015. A production version of the module is expected before 2016.
